Gymnocalycium damsii var. rotundulum is a small, globular cactus native to Argentina, where it grows in rocky, well-drained habitats. It is characterized by its rounded body, pronounced ribs, and short, curved spines that give it a tidy, symmetrical appearance. In spring and summer, it produces delicate, funnel-shaped flowers in shades of white to pale pink. Compact and slow-growing, this species is ideal for small containers and cactus collections. Mature plants typically reach 2–3 inches tall and 3–4 inches wide.
